MELROSEMELROSE, Wis. — (Special) — The funeral for Joshua A. Blbby was held Sunday afternoon with the Rev. F. A. Hanks of North Bend in charge. Burial was in the Melrose cemetery. The Odd Fellows had a part in the services.Beside his wife Mr. Bibby leaves two sons, Chester of Minneapolis, and Howard at home; one daughter, Bessie Reichenbach of Merrillan; two sisters and a brother.The ball game at Black River Falls between the House of David and the local team resulted in a victory for Black River Falls, 1to 0.Samuel Amundson was a visitor at La Crosse Sunday. Dudley Scott was a Galesville visitor on Mon- \day. |The primary marked the first time the chairmen of the democratic county committee availed themselves of the law which gives them the right to present tho j names of democrats in each rural' voting precinct for a place as an inspector, election clerk and ballot clerk, in the primary. In the town of Melrose the inspectors were Samuel Amundson, Joseph Hyrz I and Bert Westfall. Election clerks | were Esther Stoker and James Polleys, and ballot clerks, Iva Spors and Vera Stetzer.Mrs. Joe Bibby is ill with a threatened attack of pneumonia.
