Gruver, of Spearman was in Amarillo this week to buy two 16-hce drills He said that the boys weren’t planting wheal fast enough to suit him as they were only getting in about 100 acres a day. Mr. Gruver is sowing 2.000 acres in winter wheat and expects to plant a big acreage to spring wheat.The Chavez county, N, M., cotton crop is estimated at 12,000 bales.
