Mich., manager of Walter Youska, the young Pole who meets George Vase 11, the Greek champ, in a wrestling match at the Strand theater. Tuesday evening, is the original discoverer of Strangler Lewis and an old hand at the wrestling game. “1 am the man who discoveied, developed and named Strangler Lewis,” said Manager Barton on Monday.Mr. Barton thinks his man has a good chance against the (Vreek n hehas quite a record of wins behind him.Among th»* heavies he has met and thrown for the count are Linow, the Russian; John Grandovich, of New York: Billie Edwards, of Knoxville.Tenn., and other lesser lights. The only man who ever threw him twice is Walter Zbyszko, one of the best menin the game.“Doc” Yanny, who is promoting the match, has promised to pit Youska against some wlt;=dl known and popular heavies if he succeeds in putting George away. Tuesday, so the youngster. who tips the beam at 225, is out to makp a record throw. Vasell wrestles at 200 pounds, slightly less than the Greek makes.Tony Bokich, 155 pounds, who meets Emil Besola. 165 pounds, in the preliminaries, is also out to make a record, so a good card is looked for bv the many local wrestling fans.
