Hickory RaceMHICKORY—Another big field ofamateur and sportsmen's carsand drivers are expected to be on hand this week for the big racing program at the Hickory Speedway Saturday night.Promoter Charlie Combs counted 75 cars at the track for last I week's program.Gwyn Staley showed his heels tothe pack last week by capturing * the second heat and the 50-lap feature and will again be back to secure more poin’s. However, hefares stiff competition from such frivers as Ralph Earnhardt of Kannapolis. Junior Johnson of Vorth Wilkeshoro, Glenn Dunna-*ay of Gastonia and Felix Mc-’onnell of KannapolisThe program opens with time rials at 7 o'clock and the first ieat event one hour later.
