Indianapolis Sprudel# Lose to Sox-Sporting Brief*.iFBefore a good crowd Sunday the Indianapolis Sprudels lost to the local Red Sox The score was 9 to 2, and despite the lop-sidedness, the game was a fast and interesting one. ! IThe South Side Sluggers were victorious in a game played on the canning factory diamond with Glen Brant’s team. The score was 17 to 6.The wrostling match at the Sipe Saturday night blew up. Romeo Lang, the local product, claimed after six minutes that Young Jordan, the Chicago Greek, had secured a foul hold. Lang quit, and the match was awarded by Referee Sam Murbarger to the Chicago man.Murbarger and Jack Stull had two good bouts, each securing a fall. Murbarger broke a bone in his wrist in the second bout and the match had to be closed.The crowd was small.
