The Big Diamond Bicycle race at Greensburgh, Ind., on Thursday, the 26th, will be the greatest cycling event ever held in Indiana. There are ten races on the card, afltf over (800 in pnze9, everyone of which is of bona tide value, and is now on exhibition. All the first and secdHtd prizes are diamonds, aggregate value of which is $630. A grand parade of visiting wheelmen will be made at ten o’clock, and it is confidently expected that fully 600 will be in line, among them about one hundred ladies in gay costumes. The famous Sbelbyville Military Bard will furnish zfce music, and give a grand concert rearing the races, j Entries are coming in at the rate of thirty a day. and Shu dtook riders of four States will be present to contest for the vanable diamond prizes. Chicago, Mariou Ind., Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Louisville, Covington, Ky., Cleveland, O., Hamilton, O., and almost numberless smaller cities will be represented in the race by the cream of the coders. Major Taylor, the champion colored cyclist of the world, will make an effort to lower his record while famous trick riders will give exhibitions during the day. The races will be held at the Fair ground, where there is ample and comfortable accommodations for the great crowd that will be iu attendance.
