Jarkko’s goal was assisted by Moniz Keahi, an Hawaiian.The defeat left the Missionaries with a 1-2 season record heading into a Northwest Conference match at home Saturday. The game is scheduled for 2 p.m.Concordia jumped out to a quick lead Wednesday when Doug Wol-vert scored unassisted 30 seconds into the match on a fast break. Wol-vert headed the shot into the right comer of the net.Whitman’s Ted George tied the game at 1-1 at 44:30 of the first half when he scored off an assist by Matt Hall. The score remained tied for the duration of the first half.Wolvert scored again at 15:50 of the second half when he scored off a comer kick. Three minutes later Whitman tied the score on a goal by Alonza Robles, and that’s the way it remained until Tuominen and Keahi teamed up for the visitors’ “international” goal.Today’sBulletinBoard
