Defeated Featheringham byOnly One Vote.PRACTICES HELD THIS WEEK.Akros Hold a Practice on HighSchool Grounds-Steel Plants Will Try to Schedule Game With Carrollton—Scrub Gameat the High School.The All-Massillon team now has a full corps of officials. At the meeting of the team, which was held in the office of Justice Kaley in South Erie street, Monday evening, the names of Frank Bast and Robert Featheringham were placed in nomination for the position of captain. Bast won out by one vote, the final result being 7 to t* in favor of Bast. All members of the team were well pleased with the outcome of the contest and the new captain will commence to line things up immediately. Practice will be held on the Schuster grounds Wednesday and Friday evenings of thisweek. Coach Wightman. when seen Monday evening promised faithfully to be out for Wednesday night’s practice and together with Captain Bast is expected to make the husky gridiron specialists tramp the sod in a lively manner. The game with Ca^ oal Dover having been definitely arranged for, all of the players are putting in their most strenuous efforts to get into the best possible condition to start the season in a fitting manner. Ad i uscarawas county will be here on the 29th.
