Chiefs Draw WellFinal unofficial statistics reveal the Syracuse Chiefs trailed only Rochester and Richmond,the two top clubs in the circuit during regular season play, in1967 attendance. This, in view of the fact the Chiefs finished last, is somewhat remarkable and proves the benefits of the successful pre season drive forInew stockholders. This year’s average attendance was 2,180,almost 1,000 more daily thanthe 1,714 which patronized the 1966 Chieftains. General Manager Don Labbruzzo, in town tonight to address the Industrial Softball League guests should be in a happy state of mind, as the outlook is even brighter for next year.
