The Waterloo Courier, which Bet in motion the widely circulated report that the negroes were to be driven out of that city has dropped its crusade and will allow the colored people to remain. When the Brownies went to Waterloo and won the four gam*s played with that town’s club the Courier protested against allowing colored ball teams to come there and “stand on an equal footing with the white teams, ’ ’ but there will be no trouble on that score. Everybody knows that the Brownies and the Waterloo team do not play in the same class.
