Gazette, Wellaboro, Pa,, Wednesday, Sept. 15, 191)3 — 9North Penn loses, 18-12 to Renovo-Bucktail■The North Penn Panther football team came close Saturday, but ended up on the short end of an 18-12 score versus Kenovo Ducktail at Blossburg.The Panthers, now 0-2 overall and in Mid-Penn Conference play, twice grabbed six point leads, 6-0 and 12-6, but the Bucks rallied for the game’s final two touchdowns to win by six.A six yard pass from North Penn quarterback Phil Boinske to Travis Thompson gave the Panthers the early 6-0 lead. Rob Getz’s nine yard scoring run late in the first quarter.tied the score at 6-6.Following a scoreless second period, North Penn went ahead again in th‘e third stanza on a Kevin Ollock 36 yard touchdown jaunt. Again the Bucks rallied to tie the score at 12-12 on a 14 TD run by Jason Paloskey.Getz scored what proved to be the game winner in the fourth quarter on a 16 yard touchdown scamper with under a minute leftto nlav*Ollock finished with a game high 123 yards on 23 carries.
