In Germany the team was presented with a bronze bust of Adolf Hitler.The American group, coached by George T, Breshnahati of the University of Iowa, won 91 out of a possible■101 first placet in meets in five countries It won all of it* 11 meets in Sweden, Germany, France, Hungary and Czecho-Slovakia,The team selected by the national committee of the A. U. to represent the United State* in a good will competition tour abroad comprisedRalph Metcalfe of Marquette university; Ivan Fuqua of Indiana; Glenn Cunningham of Kansas; Jo*McCluskey of Fordham; Henri LaBorde of Stanford; John Anderson cf Cornell; John Morriss of Southeastern Louisiana institute, andGeorge Spit* of New York university, Metcalfe made the greatest individual showing, winning 21 first places and equalling world's records for both 100 and 200-meter dashes.
