Last Friday the enrollment if the schools was- as follows: L»rant-Whitc, 200; Garfield, 189; Fiold-Stcvnnson, 320; and ‘ Betsy Ross, 120. Considering the turn over in most school systems Forest Park liad very few.Miss Ellen Munson resigned last year to accept a position in a teachers college in Michigan. Miss Camilla Warren resigned during. Inst year. Miss Betty Jane Paxton, girls’ physical education teacher, resigned lo attend school and Miss lUlth LI men resigned to accept a fellowship in Columbia university. John E. Selin lk resigned to accept the principalship in Davenport, Iowa.Wayne A.NCrancy is the new principal of the Field-Stovohson aridBetsy Ross schools. Mr. Cruncy secured his Bachelor of Education do-grcn from Eau Clnir State Teachers’ college and his Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Crancy has 19 years experience'as a teacher, 17 of which has been principal in various school systems .of Wisconsin. During the past nineyears he has been principal of the schools at Middleton, n suburb of Madison, Wis. Mr. Crancy comes very highly recommended from the University of Wisconsin and the various communities where he has worked.Mrs. Dorothy Ortman who taught for Miss Munson for the past year will be director of both boys' and girls' physical education.Miss 1 ranees Chinn has been secured* to teach mathematics in the Field-Slcvcnsan Junior High School department. Miss Chinn's home is in Vnndalin, Mo. She hns secured her Bachelor's degree from the Northeast Missouri Teachers cnl-lcge. Miss Chinn has 13 years' experience; the last position she held was a.t Fairfield, Iown, a school system of 75 teachers. Miss Chinn comes very highly recommended from the school systems where she has taught and from the Northeast Missouri Teachers college.. Miss Marjorie Amdurskl will leach the kindergarten in the Field-Stevenson and Betsy Ross schools. Miss Amdurski has her Bachelor of Eeducntion degree from Northwestern university and her special training m kindergarten and education from the National College of F*Education in Evanston, She has taught the past 16 “yfru s; most of this experience was in Highwood, III., and Benton Harbor, Mich.
