The all-state lineman is the fastest man in the frosh ranks at 100 yards and can outrun the varsity and first year men at 0 yards. Coach Bill Kern is said to be considering a plan to capitalize on Davis' weight and speed by using him in the backfield. The blone mentor knows that if Davis flunks that test he can always be used at guard post where speed is No. 1 on the must parade.
