Boxing.—Monday a battle was fought on Wormwood scrubs, near Edgeware • Road, between George Clemen's* a sawyer, and Duuovnn, an Irishman, two wed known, pugilists, for twenty guineas.* • The concourse of blackguards assembled on this occasion was immense. The combatants set to about two o’clock, and bo:h foug) t fill a quarter pan three. The bets on _ setting to were in favour of the irishman, owing to his‘greater., strength ; hut, soon changed in favour of the sawyer, who gave his antagonist a dreadful beVt-^ng.-i—No attempt was made on the part of the Magistrates to prevent this disgraceful proceeding. •
