House of David Ball Club Will Play at Waseca Friday NightWaseca, Sept. 13.—Earl Smith will bring his long-whiskered ball players and long-eared donkeys here for a night ball game against Waseca, Friday, September 14, at 8:30 p.m., at the Waseca county fair grounds park.The House of David, besides having the best ball club they have had for several years, are playing ball under their own $30,000 portable light plant, and offer the fans the pepper game and the donkey game which goes on after the regular 'game, and Babe Didrikson, the world’s greatest girl athlete, will be seen in there firing the old horsehide up to the home town boys to hit atDonkey ball is played in the same manner as that in the soft ball game here, only at Waseca the regulation baseball will ba used. The rules are the same.
