Grover Cleveland Alexander, whose pitching made history in the major league, will on Sunday afternoon ascend the pitching mound for the House of David baseball team against an All-Star aggregation, representing the rarlous clubs In the City baseball league. Although a member of the bewhiskered nine, Alexander has refused to grow a beard and permit his tresses to extend beyond his collar button.
