Seattle, Wash., September 11.— Willie Ritchie is on his way to San Francisco today determined that he will not meet Freddie Welsh because the Vancouver promoters, at the last minute refused to put up a guaranty giving Ritchie fifty per cent of all concessions. Ritchie has stopped pay* roent on a check for $2,500 which he had posted as forfeit. Harry Pollock, manager of Welsh, announced he will claim the lightweight title by default for his man.
