Lafuna the Quark runner of the Victrix Club Lafuna gave a great exhibition of tunning and wen the beat prizes given in Philadelphia in many veare. It was a duplicate of the prizes won by Johnny Hayes in the I*ondon Marathon. There were fifty runners given handicaps on Lafuna from five seconds to two minute* and fifteen seconds, but he caught every one and wasleading by five yards at the four and a half mile point He won by twenty yards from Dove Duff.Running broad jump was won by W A. Armstrong. W. S.
