Time—-2 MtfviSHERIDAN THROWS WEIGHTS,Irish-American Athlete First in Two%Events at Osceola’s Outing.Martin J. Sheridan of the Irish-American Athletic Club gave an exhibition of discus throwing at the annual outing and games of the Osceola Club at Witzel’s Point View. College Point, L. I., yesterday, and threw themissile 133 feet 2 inches. His performance was the feature of the athletic events. Th^re were six ooen events contested, two of which fell to Martin Sheridan and another to Guy Haskins. Sheridan won the 50-pound weight throw as well as the discus, heating Gillies and Horgnn of the New York Athletic Club, while Haskin® defeated a mixed field.
