Needham Signs With RebelsROANOKE, Va. (AP) — BUI Needham, former coach of Cleveland Crusaders of the World Hockey' Association, has been named coach of Roanoke Valley Rebels of the Southern Hockey League.Needham, 42, signed n one-yea u contract with the Rebels, a league spokesman said Tues-day.He will succeed Gregg Pilling, who resigned July 29 to.become coach and general manager of Philadelphia Firebirds of Ihe North American Hockey League.Needham, who coached the Crusaders into tho WHA playoffs during their first two seasons, was replaced as coach May 1 as a result of differences with Cleveland general manag-i er Jack Vivian.
