Long,Summit.'The Jersey Central Power Light Company baseball team will play an exhibition game*with the bewhlskered House of David nine at Memorial Field, Morristown, Monday, September 14th# at 5.30 p. m. This fast aggregation, which travels the country in a bus, bears an enviable reputation for both their unusual appearahce on the field and their wonderful performance as ball players. All the players have full beards and while all young fellows, they appear old and the agility displayed is amusing. This team has played several games in New Jersey this summer at Orange, Irvington, Newark, Jersey City, Patfcrson and have defeated such teams as the Bushwick at Brooklyn, the Omnge A. A., the Colored Royal Giants, and clubs oflike strength.The Jersey - Central Power Light Company team, now playing in the championship series of the GMCB League at Morristown, are sponsoring this game and the proceeds will be evenly divided.
