Ribbons were presented to winners by Smith Jackson.AT SEAL HARBOR MEETMembers of the Northeast Bar Harbor and Seal Harbor clubscompeted in a swim meet at the Harbor Club, Seal Harbor, on September 1.Joan Simmons and Jane Fostervwere winners of the girls’ freestyle for swimmers under 9. The same pair placed 1-2 in diving for boys and girls under 9 and in a ping-pong ball race.For girls 9-12 Jean Crofoot, Laury Ryerson and Charlotte Col-ket won the 50-footABOUT TOWNMr. and Mrs. Percy Hall and sons Roger and Charles and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Warren and daughter Juanita recently enjoyed a trip to New Hampshire, Vermont and Quebec. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Roger Stewart and family in New Hampshire and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Robinson and family at Coventry, Vermont.freestyle, jRobert Cutler, Richard Williamsand Mike Madiera won the boys’event.In diving for girls 9-12 winners were Ethel Ducey and Ann and Jean Crofoot.
