D.—Mike Peer, manager of Toughy Ramser, received il letter from Art Simms, of Columbus, who is handling Bryan Bonn aey, to the effect that Simmswould endeavor to secure a bout for the local boy here soon.In Columbus there are a set of clubs known as third rate clubs andan aspiring young boxer must appear before one of these clubs and if he makes a good showing he gets a chance in the class of clubs promoting the highest grade of bouts.Ramser is certain to make good before*one of these clubs. He is the kind of a boy that is up and fighting all the time and the fans are villing to pay perfectly good money to see a boy of Uaiuser's type perform.As soon a# Simms lines something up lor Toughy, Leer will send his protege to Columbus to train.
