Brownies Restored the Pence.New Hampton Gazette: The race war got into Iowa Tuesday, and a fierce fight between the Algona Brownies baseball team and a number of foreigners of the Colonel Jabour oar-nival shows occurred on the Great Western train between Oelwein and Westgate, The trouble arose when one of the .labour troupe asked the Brownies to come in the car and help him stop the trouble. They responded in a body, fifteen strong, and put the foreigners out of business by a free use of fists and ball bats. The show people were finally put off the train out in the country and left. The train was an hour and a half late in New Hampton.
