RVC co-captains namedROCKFORD--Co-captains for the 1977 Rock Valley College football team were announced recently by head coach Norm Matzl.Elected as • offensive co - captains were guard Bruce Manzer and wingback Kasper Blake. Manzer graduated from Boylan High School and Blake is a product of Auburn High School.East High linebacker Chris Loser and defensive back Tim Moylan from Chicago Lane Tech were elected defensive cocaptains.The four RVC co-captains are all sophomores.The Trojans will open their 1977 schedule with* a home game against Wright College for Chicago Sept. 10. Kickoff time is 1:30 p.m.
