Miners lump to i\lo.The Linton Miners with a 2 and 0 record and a victory over North Knox Friday night, jumped from 12th to eighth in the (lass A division of high school football standings this week, rated by the United Press International.The Miners pleased their fans with the victory over North Knox, the first since 1966 over that particular team. They will he playing Brown County, visiting their field Saturday foran afternoon game this week.The Brown County game is scheduled for 2 p m Saturday at the school, located at Nash* ville, east of Bloomington. Dan Phillips, Lin ton Stock ton Athletic Director, said it takes about one and one half to two hours to get there.
