The first stringers saw no defensive action whatever in the second half of play.Gate'City took the opening kick-3ff and marched 57 yards fit six days for its first I ally. Fullback Bllioll Smith plunged over ffom hrce yards out.The highlight of the drive was i 26-yard pass play from quarterback George Jennings to end Fames McConnell.Jennings, Gale City’s answer lo fabn Uni las, has al tempted nine jasscs in two outings and has competed seven for 104 yards.
