HaltsIndustrialLeague FinalAeronca and Gardner Board fought a stubborn fight against the elements last night at the Gardner diamond, but the In* dustrial League Tournament1* championship game was finally washed out in the fifth inning with the score tied, 1-1.Rain fell throughout the game, and play was delayed in the fourth inning before being halted in the fifth.Larry Kibler had limited the Gardner nine to one safety while Aeronca had picked up three singles off Mac Langster when the game was called, Dan Spradling singled and ! scored Gardner’s run in the f i r s i Inning. Don Worm an walked to lead off and when Spradling a single was mis-piayed in the outfield Worman came across with an apparent run. But Aeronca made a plav at third and the umpire ruled that Worman missed third base. The run was nullified.Spradling then scored on an error as Gardner took a 1-0laiiAn error and hit« by Ed Jameson and Dean Prushing in the second produced a run forAsrwaa (i III it up.The game will be replayed later this week, but the eiactday has not been decided.♦
