SPORTSMEN’S DAY ATVINTON ON SEPT. 18(Clt;H*nc9 Special Strive*) |Vinton, la.—The program wasi? announced Thursday for the sev- t enth annual Benton county sportsman's day at Dudgeon lake near here Sunday, Sept. 18. The lake one /nile north of here is a new site for the event.Included on the day’s program which starts at 10 a. m. are greyhound races, coon hound field trials, pointers and setters, quail trials, retriever trials, casting demonstrations by Dave Hawk and an amateur bait and fly casting contest, dog show for children under 18 and a trapshooting contest.In case of rain Sept. 17, the event will be moved to the following Sunday, Sept. 25.
