They tried the double umpire system.The Eynon A Ingersoll nine hare not been beaten this season, so in the eighth inning when the Otis club were one ruu ahead and had a man on second and third base they refused to play further on account of dark' ness and the umpire called the game. The features of the game were the excellent field' ing of Ingersoll and Patterson, and the batting of Hage in an and F. Sebelin. The batteries did excellent work on both sides.
