Trojans In past years, will probably jflnd additional cause to cheer this fall If Jack Llddy joins Eddie Von Ilerstine In the Hat City club’s backfleld.Vonlderstlne, the speedy little halfback who won three close games for the Trojans last year, will be back in his former position when the Connecticut state champions clash with I the New York Pro Giants one week Ifrom Sunday. Jack Llddy, Brewster’s jbest known athlete, who starred at j Rutgers and later on the Passaic Red j Devils, will probably perform as full-jback for Danbury against the Giants.Llddy, whose bull-like smashes through tackle, and his fine defensive work have made him a standout star with Passaic, will be a valuable addition to the Danbury club, now seeking its third- straight 6tate championship.
