ThursdayCHARLES CITY, Sept, 5.—The House of David baseball club will visit Lion field Thursday at 4 o’clock to oppose Charles City, Included in the Whiskers’ lineup will be Jackie Mitchell, girl pitcher, who will be on the mound for part of the contest.Jferry and Ed Goet2ingrer, Meyers and Schneider will make up the local infield, with Mitchell, Wolf, and Daugherty in the outfield, “Hook” Ramsey pitching, and “Mul-ly” Finch behind the plate.
