These products are to be taken off display in retail outlets and sales discontinued until further notice. Consumers are urged to immediately discontinue use of these products. All aerosol adhesive sprays, regardless of brand name, are under suspicion at this time and following current tests, other spray adhesives may also be banned from the market.Commissioner Pawlewski said that field representatives of the Iowa State Department of Health will be utilized to inform retail outlets in the state that these products are banned and should he removed from the market place. These products could readily be found in many different types of outlets such as, hobby shops, art and craft shops, office supply, paint, hardware, interior decorating and general department stores. They might, also, be found in discount stores, lumber .yards, upholstering shops, fabric shops, school and churches. I his ban will continue until further information becomes available through the manufacturers and the CPSC. A comprehensive effort is being made to determine the full extent and implication of the problem,man, That says it pretty good, Hendrickson said.
