By United Press InternationalRighthander Steve Blass, who led all Columbus pitcherswith 13 victories this season,will face Bruce Brubaker of the Syracuse Chiefs when the International League playoffs get underway tonight.Blass dropped 11 games for the Jets, who open at home in the best - of -seven semifinal series since they won the pennant. Brubaker, also a righthander, had 9-9 record for the Chiefs, who finished fourth.In the other semifinal series starting at Atlanta, (Danny Schneider of the Crackers will oppose Jack Lamabe of the Toronto (Maple Leafs. Schneider, a lefty, compiled a 10-7 mark for the second - place Crackers while the righthanded Lamabe was 10-3 for Toronto, which placed third.The survivors of the two series will meet in another seven-game set for the Governor's Cup.
