But the eighth inning changc.d matters materially, for instead oi white-washing the Milfords as they should have done, Check and Davis each dropped a fly and the side could not be disposed of till four runs had been♦ ♦ -V* ^ T ** +scoredj; then again bfanlcing the Hoosiers in their half of the inning, Ohio led- by one score. In the ninth inning each club scored three and the Milfordy were victorious.The game was a fine one, but few errora being made by either nine, while splendid plays eliciting great applause were uuraer- jous.
