StadiumRecentlyExpandedASCs Memorial Stadium,the site of all Rebel home football games, has recently undergone a expansion program.The program, completedlast year, Increased the totalseating capacity from 5,500 to 10,000.To make the additions, the stands on the east side of thefield were divided into twosections, carried across the field, and placed on either end of the west stands.Then, land was built up and concrete stands constructed into the ground on the east side.In addition, the restroom facilities were remodeled, and a larger parking area was provided. Concession stands were revamped.A new press box was also built. It is completely enclosed, soundproofed and has three levels.Another expansion is seen in the future for Memorial Stadium- - named for the ASCstudents and faculty killed in World War II.
