KILLED .IN THE RING.Pugilist Scott Dies From Over exertion: While Fighting, with Tommy Butier--Was Not in Proper Condition.NEW YORK, Aug. 20. Alexander ScOli tho pugilist, died m the hospital at 5 o'clock this morning of uraemia convulsion, brought on by his exertions in the 9ght with zoauuy Butler, at Green Wood Athletic club last night. Scott was a brakeraao and had ma e no proper preparations to meet Butler, and it 5s declared by physician® that his kidneys were in bad condition befw~ he entered the ring. Butler and his seconos ore under arrest. ,Br. Hart, the physician of the Greenwood Athletic club, whose duty it is to examine the men before they enter the rmg, savs Scott was in perfect condition when he entered the ring. He thinks probably the cause ol death was concussion of the brnin.
