I'll submit the evidence up to date and you may form your own opinion. UY decided that we needed money. We held a carus. Someone suggested the old-fashioned Idea that a splendid way to pet money was to work for it- Another hub-Rested the modern idea of cooperation. We put the two ideas together and formulated a plan. ThlH is our plan: Each lK*y and fiirl In H. S. has promlsod to donate soino real work on Friday. Nov. 2. the proceeds to bo to the girls basketball team. A committee was ap|olnted to get jobs. Each one promised to work at any old thing so long as it was honorable work, (and who would ask a II. 8. student to do anything dishonorable?) We have Jobs now for nearly all. A majority secured Jobs from their parents. Other are going to husk corn, haul fodder, shovel coal, * canvass, help cleanschool house, 'tend baby, clerk ]q store, etc., etc. If anyone wants to hire a boy or girl for Friday.
