Their vaunted air attack looked pitiful and their interference left a great deal to be desired.Possibly the high point of the contest w'as the fact that Hubert Jurecka set up a 100 per cent record in kicking for points after touchdown, a record that is almost unheard of so far as Robstown teams are concerned.Robstown’s scores came by three touchdov ns by Rader, one by Me-Craw and one by Bailey; two safeties; and five points after touchdown by Jurecka.Laredo failed to gain appreciably through the line but frequently got away for long gains around ends. The Tigers also had a dangerous passing atack which seemed to bewilder the Cotton Pickers.Rader and Jurecka were the outstanding stars offensively. Burns Parr at guard played his usual stellar game. For Laredo, Pappas, Nesto Samuels, Boesenberg and Matthews w’ere the outstanding stars.Play by PlayRobstown kicks. McCormick kicks to T. E. McDonald, state commissioner of agriculture.Mr. McDonald expressed this opinion in his address before the luncheon and joint meeting of the Robstown Chamber of Commerce and the Robstowji Rotary club at the Brendle hotel yesterday and reiterated his stand in his splendid address before a mass meeting of farmers and business men at the high school auditorium at 4 p. m. yesterday.A large crowd of farmers who are in a receptive mood for suggestions as to a readjusted farm program gave attentive ears to the constructive talk by the agriculture commissioner. The speaker dealt with agricultural problems generally but stressed particularly his ideas on the recent cotton law*, the burdensome cotton carry-over, a more adequate marketing system and the utilization of land taken from cotton.“The cottop market has advanced $7.50 per bale right in the face of the heaviest ginning and heaviest movement of cotton on record for this time of the year,”' he said. “The best posted authorities assure me that without this legislation, agita-tation and Southwide movement definitely to reduce next year’s acreage that we would today be experiencing 30 cotton instead of the $7.50 per bale advance.“There is no reason why a bale ofnicely at the home of his parents,Mr. and Mrs. R.
