TINY MITE In Tiny Mite action Wimbish Raiders blasted the Dulf Ponies 12-8. It was a battle for firstplace as the Raiders came from behind in the last few minutesof the game to win. Marv Erickson threw a 60 yard pass to Kevin Elliott for the winning touchdown. The same combina-tion had worked for six points in the first quarter. Joey Fal-ango scored on a seven yard run for Duff in the second and a successful conversion shoved the Ponies up to a total of eight points. Falango was the top player on Duffs defense with two fumble recoveries. Rand)'Davidson and Pat Hogan were other defensive standouts. Duff recovered five Wimbish fumbles and two of their own. Other Wimbish fumbles were recovered by Trent Johnson, Ricky Heinz, and Mike Craddock. Wimbish standout players were Marv Erickson and Kevin Elliott. Both teams had a total of 21 first downs, while Wimbish led in rushing with 136 yards to Duff s 86. Wimbish passed for 127 yards, while Duff had none. Wimbish recovered five fumbles and Duff three. No penalties were called against Wimbish, but Duff had two for a total of 10 yards.
