Texas Western is a branch of the University of Texas.Dudley Woodward of Dallas, chairman of the Board of Regents, said he would have a complete statement on the matter following adjournment of the board which is in session here.Voting against removal of the ban were Mrs. Edgar Tobin of Sar Antonio, Jim Rockwall of Houston and Edward B. Tucker of Nacog doches.Nicols Named 'Esquire Girl'Mary Beth Nicols was proclaimed “Miss Esquire” of’Texas Western this week in a split vote turned in by a board of judges composed of El Paso's leading advertising and publicity firms.Runner-up was Jane Piatt.Photographs of the two finalists were taken around to the various judges and their written decisions' obtained.
