It was a non-district game but a sweet victory, nevertheless, j •The Navasota Rattlers come into the local corral tomorrow night for a return bill with the Brahmas, who lost 27 0 to the Grimes county outfit in the first game. Coach Paul Pearson is non committal on the contest, in fact carries a pretty long face about it all. but he does concede that the Brahmas have a far better chance tomorrow to win than they did in the ankle deep fog at Navasota. A win 1 for the Brahmas will keep them very much in the running while 17, a win for Navasota will put Li the Rattlers in the position of p Joe Stalin's army—victory will S be certain though not imme-! diate.I Star of the Lexington contest ’ was Clifton Ueckert, freshman regular playing center. The little blond giant played himself a while of a game and Lexington a runners learned, finally, to re--c spect him.
