HARRY J. GILL!GANHarry J. Gilligan was born January 4, 1895, and followed his collegiate course at St. .Xavier College where he received the A. B. Degree in 1912, and St. Xavier College of Commerce and Sociology where he was awarded the B. C. S. Degree In 1915. He haa been active in the promotion of college athletics and other projects at that institution and during one year acted as coach of the college basketball teaah.He enlisted in the service for the World War on June, 1917, and was immediately sent to France, where he served twenty-one months and acted as an official correspondent for theCatholic Telegraph.On November 19, 1919, he was married to Miss Blanche Dorothy Joyce at St. Columba Church, Youngstown, O. To that union have been born two sets of twin children, Jack and Jeanne and r'rank and Harry, Jr.Lik« his father he has wonhimself a host of friends in this city. At the last convention of the National Funeral Directors of the United States he was chosen third vice-president of that organisation and he was largely instrumental in securing the next convention of thatbody for Cincinnati. He is a member of Elder Council and Isaac Jogues Assembly of the Knights of Columbus and is Master of the Fourth Degree for the Second Ohio District of that Order. He also is a member of the Cincinnati Club, the Elks, Junior Chamber of Commerce, First Vice-Commander of the Robert E.
