Bo*insr Contests at Clncjt#o« Chicago, Oct. 25.—The first boxing-con-test under he new ruling of Mayor Harrison that limited round contests would be permitted took place at Tattersalls Saturday night. The principal event of the evening* was a seven-round contest between Kid McCoy and Con Riley, champion heavyweight of Ohio. No attempt at fighting was made by either man. .Is a sparring' exhibition it was a success, both men showing great cleverness. Then came six rounds between Frank Garrard, of Chicago, and Young Griffo, George Siler referee. This was strictly on it? merit?, both men fighting viciously. Garrard had the better of the last two round?, but Siter declared it a draw.
