Five of theVsix touchdowns scored against Marian this year have come on passes.Plaeekicker Ed Bauerle booted the extra points that shoved East to a 14-6 halftime lead and eventually provided the winning margin. The losers thus dropped out of the conference lead, as Joliet Catholic and I^ekport are now tied for first at 4-0.
