**r iii |I1 4ij RILEY'S ROLLING—The Riley Poets, winners of five straight games after an opening season loss to Lincoln, are heading into a city cham-»; pionship showdown match with the Railsplitters next week. The Poets, with one of their biggest lines and swiftest backfields in years, ,jhava developed a diversified attack which makes th«rr a threat every time a play starts. The westsiders thumped Peru, Jeff of Lafayette jand Frankfort in outside competition and have won twice from the Saints in city junior high series play. That lone loss to Lincoln, 13-6, is the only mark against the Poets. They hope to erase that with a decisive win next week.
