Although Lamar has two conference losses this season, it must be remembered that the two teams Lamar lost to are exceptionally good teams and two that Neosho has yet to play. The two teams, Aurora and Mt. Vernon, are strong in the Big 8 Conference, Mt. Vernon with one loss., suffering defeat at the hands of ; jtaItcitc11an undefeated Monett team, and Aurora undefeated, winning her games by large margins.The Neosho and Lamar teams s are about the same size with Lamar relying mostly on aerial work. Although Neosho will probably be without one of its star players, J. D. Renick, the squad showed their foes what they could do thus handicapped by defeating Nevada, one of the strongest* conference contenders last Friday. Then too, the Wildcats will be out for revenge this week. Last year they lost to a very powerful Lamar eleven 12-0, a score they hope to even out tomorrow night.
