Sue Eetlogle of Oak Park Eiver High School finished first in the singles competition,-Sue Graham'Of NewTrier West, was second.In the doubles competition, the champions were ICathy Stearns_ and Julie Clark, both of New’Trier East. They defeated rivals from Ne.wj Trier West, J£athy; .C^rzeri ghtf Brpjver.The ' EdwarSsMlleJ girls* had finished one-two a. week ago at the district' tournament to qualify for the state competition. The district tournament was won. by Edwardsville High School, wliich wound up undefeated in its initial year of play.
