Jubilant Goblins enter the stadium for Homecoming and run their season record to 7-1 and a perfect 4-0 inclash with Huntsville Eagles Friday night. Harrison 1AA play,won the contest 28-6 to wrap up the Region 1AA title*ii9•4■ / *A*Ayy* ■*hi'#t%**Swamp Huntsville in Homecoming, 28-6WithThe Harrison Goblins closed the District 1AA conference season with a convincing 28-6 win over the Huntsville Eagles in the Goblin Homecoming Friday night at Goblin Stadium.The victory ran the Goblin record to 7-1 and a perfect 4-0 record in Region 1AA play.The Goblins put all of their points on the scoreboard in the first half of play by taking advantage of several Huntsville fumbles.Harrison scored first in the first quarter on a 40 yard drive with Marcus McNew getting the TD on a 14 yard run. Mike Dodson added the extra point for a 7-0 margin.Marty English recovered an Eagle fumble and Steve Lee scored from three yards out 4after a 48 yard drive. The extra point was wide but the Goblins were ahead, 13-0.In the second quarter, the Goblins added 15 points. The first points came on a blocked punt by Terry English which rolled out of the end zone for a safety and a 15-0 score. The extra point was missed.With only three minutes left in the half, Mathis threw a TD pass to John Watts that carried 25 yards. The extra point was good and the Goblins held a commanding 28-0 lead at halftime.Huntsville scored in the second half after taking the kick-off and driving 65 yards for the TD. The extra point was missed and that was the scoring for the nfeht as neither team threatened again.Harrison will host Hillcrest of Springfield, Mo.
